Check in/Check out
Check out time is 11am. Government issued Photo ID and a credit card will be required when checking in. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to reserve a room/ bed.
Late check-in and late check-outs may be subject to additional fees. Reception service is available from 8:00AM to 9:00PM. Please arrange a late check-in with staff if required.
Reservations and Cancellations
Reserving a room/ bed requires a credit card upon booking. Guest’s first night stay will be charged at time of reservation; the remaining balance will be paid at time of check in. We accept cash, debit or credit cards; sorry no cheques.
For stays of up to one week, 48 hours cancellation notice will be required. For stays over one week, seven days notice will be required. Anything less will result in the full amount being charged to your credit card.
Info and Policies (Guesthouse Rules)
Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, property and neighbours. This is very important as we live in a beautiful neighborhood in a beautiful city in a beautiful country on a beautiful planet! We hope our guests practice this outside of their visit with us.
Any guests found compromising the comfort, safety, or security of other guests, staff, or local residents will be required to leave the guesthouse premises and will not be offered a refund.
For health and safety reasons, bedding and towels are supplied. Please, no outside linens allowed. This includes sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, etc.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside Journey’s Perch Guesthouse. Anyone found smoking inside will be asked to leave immediately and will be charged a cleaning fee. Please smoke in the designated areas outside.
To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, quiet time is from 11pm – 7am. Please be mindful that our guests are very active during the day and may be early-risers and might be early to bed. Early-risers, please respect late-risers!
The common areas and facilities are to be shared and welcomed by all guests to use as they please. For the health and safety (and respect) of all guests, please clean up after yourself (very important)! We provide plenty of trash and recycling receptacles; please make an effort to use them. A clean Perch is a happy Perch!
Guest’s will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the guesthouse property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible for.
Guests may use lockers provided to secure their personal items and property. Journey’s Perch Guesthouse accepts no liability for the loss, theft or damage of personal items. Please close and lock all bedrooms doors behind you, to ensure the personal security of each guest’s belongings.
Lost rooms keys will be charged a $20 replacement fee.
Journey’s Perch has a “no pets” policy with the exception of service animals.
